1968 was a year of mass worker and student struggles around the globe. From France to Mexico the contradictions and inequalities of capitalism brought people on to the streets to fight for a better world. At the same time, in Eastern Europe, Czech workers and students rose against the repressive Stalinist bureaucracy and fought for liberation and real socialism.
Come to a panel discussion on the successes and failures of the student and worker struggles of ’68 and the lessons we can learn for our movement against the budget cuts and the distorted priorities of capitalism today.
