EVENT: Solidarity: Fighting Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia Together
Donald Trump’s presidency has intensified both institutional violence and individual acts of terror against many marginalized communities in the United States. In particular, the upswing in open anti-Semitism and Islamophobia has been extreme and widespread, taking the form of fires in mosques, bomb threats, racist immigration bans, cemetery vandalism, and the normalization of anti-Semitic and Islamophobic language at the highest levels of government. As remarkable as the breadth of this hate is the depth of solidarity that Jews and Muslims in America have shown each other.
Join the International Socialist Organization, Muslim Student Union, Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, and J Street U for a panel on how we can best fight Islamophobia and anti-Semitism today.
